Please note, Screening Reports, Inc. is only able to provide file disclosures for individuals who have submitted rental applications through one of our rental housing clients. Screening Reports, Inc. does not otherwise have files on individuals.
Although specific requirements vary by management company or landlord, a resident screening report may include information about your credit, criminal and rental housing history as well as verification of your employment or income source(s). Most background reports will include information from your credit history including your previous addresses and whether you have a pattern of consistent payments to creditors.

Screening Reports, Inc. does not control the information reported by credit bureaus or contained in national, state or county criminal databases, and we are not able to change the information contained in these databases. If, however, Screening Reports, Inc. maintains a file on you and you dispute the completeness or accuracy of any item of information in that file we will conduct a reasonable reinvestigation to determine whether the disputed information is inaccurate. If, after such a reinvestigation the disputed item of information is found to be inaccurate or incomplete or cannot be verified, we will promptly delete that item of information from the file, or modify that item of information, as appropriate, based on the results of the reinvestigation.

A general rule of thumb is that rent should be between 30 to 40% of your gross income, however this may vary in different parts of the country.
